Watch collector, financier and globetrotter
Pierre-André Montjovet recharges his batteries in the mountains near to where he was born, when he’s not on a plane travelling to a business meeting, preferably with a glass of good wine in his hand and a nice watch on his wrist (he likes to change them regularly). His attention to detail comes from his training as an engineer. His taste for beautiful things and his cosmopolitan spirit grew out of his international experience, travelling between Geneva, Hong Kong, London and Paris.

Marie de Pimodan-Bugnon trained as a lawyer but decided that her writing skills, her interest in design and her attention to detail would be better utilised as a journalist working for the international watch media. Her aesthetic sensibilities were honed by years working with demanding editorial teams, as well as by the cultural references she acquired living in France, the UK and, for the last 14 years, Switzerland.

A multimedia journalist, Sophie has worked for several watchmaking publications including Revolution, GMT, WorldTempus, and Lady by GMT. She is now Creative Director for luxury independent watchmaker Purnell, but she didn’t want to give up her role as judge on the Watch Photo Awards, for which we are truly grateful and honoured.

Brice Lechevalier splits his free time between sailing and watches. His first experience of publishing was creating a photo book for the completion of his marketing degree. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Skippers and GMT magazines, and he also runs the only trilingual independent watch news website, WorldTempus. He created the Geneva Watch Tour and the Watch Photo Awards, and is also closely involved with the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.

Edouard Haegi loves cars and watches, which he films and photographs from every angle, including from the sky, with the drone he pilots so expertly. Still a student but already an entrepreneur, this enthusiastic watch photographer is also a workaholic, who works in a watch shop in a major Valais ski resort at the weekends.
